CME Suite
The Opus Medicus CME Suite is a one-of-a-kind online, collaborative system/service for developing, certifying, and delivering CME courses in compliance with Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) criteria. Developed by highly experienced software and information technology engineers working with leading educators and ACCME criteria subject matter experts, the system automates all phases of CME course development, certification, and delivery, including:
- Offloading and automating the onerous processes required for developing, certifying, and conducting CME activities in compliance with ACCME accreditation criteria.
- Enabling collaborative course development, with assignable individual roles and automated, individually tailored action items.
- Providing online course delivery to your members or registrants, including course materials, catalog entries, registration, exams, evaluations, completion certificate issuance, and transcript maintenance. This may be in combination with a live lecture.
- Maintaining online the Performance-in-Practice evidence required for re-accreditation.
- Providing automatic submission of annual PARS reports to the ACCME.
We offer the CME Suite under two different models:
- For organizations accredited by the ACCME - You may use our online service to develop and certify your CME courses in accordance with ACCME criteria. You certify the courses and designate them for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ under your ACCME accreditation. You may use our online course delivery platform to offer the courses to your members or registrants, in (optional) combination with a live lecture.
- For organizations not accredited by the ACCME - For CME-suitable courses that you wish to offer to your members, we can provide a full set of services to you. The course team, consisting of your Course Directors and our medical experts and ACCME-compliance specialists, can collaboratively develop CME courses using the CME Suite. We can certify the courses (assuming they meet ACCME criteria) and designate them for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. In Pathology and other specialties, we can also certify the courses as Self Assessment Modules for Maintenance of Certification. You may use our online course delivery platform to offer the courses to your members or registrants, in (optional) combination with a live lecture.
