10019-001 - Basal Cell Proliferations of the Prostate, including Basal Cell Hyperplasia and Basal Cell/Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma

Course Director

Massimo Loda, M.D., Harvard Medical School

Description

This course presents an image-intensive case based didactic review of basaloid hyperplasia and carcinomas of the prostate. It discusses basal cell-secretory cell relationship, basal cell hyperplasia, and basal cell carcinoma. It reviews the epidemiology, histologic features, immunophenotype, and clinical behavior of basal cell/adenoid cystic carcinoma.
