Description

This course will discuss recently described and uncommon soft tissue tumors with a case-based format. Cases will first be presented as "unknowns"; the differential diagnosis, results of ancillary tests (immunohistochemistry and molecular genetics, when appropriate), and final diagnosis will then be discussed.

Soft tissue tumor pathology, immunohistochemistry, and molecular genetics with discussion of:

1. Low-grade fibromyxoid sarcoma

2. Follicular dendritic cell sarcoma

3. Gastrointestinal neuroectodermal tumor (GNET) / clear cell sarcoma-like tumor of the GI tract

4. Epithelioid inflammatory myofibroblastic sarcoma
