Opus Medicus has just released a series of free online CME courses on Ebola Facts and Safe Patient Management. The series provides facts for healthcare providers on Ebola symptoms, diagnostic methods, treatment, and patient evaluation guidelines. It includes CDC recommendations for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). It also provides answers to frequently asked questions about necessary infection control procedures to protect patients and healthcare providers in U.S. hospitals. Content for the series was provided by the American Hospital Association (AHA) from material developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Opus Medicus is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians and designates each online CME course for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Opus Medicus is also an American Board of Pathology (ABP)-approved provider of Pathology Self Assessment Modules (SAMs) for the ABP Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program.
